We do groom dogs we describe as quirky, however we don’t groom extremely aggressive dogs and would always recommend a vet check up to rule out potential causes. We can also direct you to qualified canine behaviourists.
No – absolutely not. We are a cage and crate free company.
We advise owners to bring their puppy as soon as they are fully inoculated for us to slowly introduce them, even if they don’t need a hair cut it is better to start them at approx. 12 weeks of age. Older puppies take longer to adjust and may take more appointments before we can safely trim them.
This greatly depends upon various factors, we will always provide your optimum grooming schedule and highly recommend prebooking as we book up fast. Most dogs we see in the salon visit us every 4-6 weeks for breeds such as Westie, Poodle, Cockapoo, Shih Tzu and every 6-8 weeks for short-haired breeds such as Pugs, Frenchies, Labradors.
We price each individual dog according to their breed, sizing, styling requirement, coat condition and behaviour. As such prices can vastly vary. We are happy to quote you.
Yes, you drop off your dog at their appointment time and we will perform a consultation with you, here you will be given an approximate time frame. However, we will text or call you 10 mins before your pet is ready to be collected. Please avoid coming early as this gets your pet excited and we may not be able to complete their groom for safety reasons.
Your dogs groom duration depends upon several factors, such as their breed, styling requirements and behaviour for example. But as a general rule, the average groom time is 1-2 hours in duration.
